Nikken Selected as Official Supplier & Sponsor for World Skills London 2011

Nikken Kosakusho Europe Ltd has agreed to supply competitors with a selection of products from its comprehensive NC Tooling range.

World Skills London will be held from 5th to 8th October at the ExCEL. It will be the world's largest international skills competition attracting young people from across the globe, competing to be the best of the best in their chosen skill. Some 150,000 visitors will be able to see over 1,000 competitors from 50 countries will compete over the four days as organisers take the opportunity to inspire future generations of highly skilled individuals.

The competitors involved in the CNC Milling Competition will use Nikken’s NC Tooling products on vertical machining centres. The UK’s team is soon to be issued with their Nikken tooling package prior to the June selection competition organised by Ian Thompson from the Technology Innovation Centre at Coleg Llandrillo Cymru in North Wales.
