NIKKEN's Support of The Children's Hospital Charity

NIKKEN is honoured to support The Children’s Hospital Charity for the second consecutive year, participating in their remarkable Snowflake Appeal. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the appeal has raised over £2.5 million since its inception, funding critical enhancements at Sheffield Children's Hospital.

In addition to sponsoring the Snowflake Appeal, NIKKEN has also supported the construction and furnishing of a bedroom for parents to stay with their children during treatment. Our contributions extend to the Helipad Appeal, which facilitates rapid access to the hospital for young patients in critical need.

Tony Bowkett, our CEO, commented: "The snowflake appeal embodies the spirit and resilience of the young patients, the dedication of the amazing team at the children’s hospital, as well as the support from sponsors and the wider community. It brings smiles and happiness to all and vital funding to support needy projects. We are proud to be part of this wonderful team. I would like to expand this further in 2025, adding the wider support of the UK Manufacturing Technologies Association and its collaborators, who have this year already bought several snowflakes with a large project to follow in 2025."
